Continuum Appoints Dorothy Stubbs as Chief Operating Officer

We’re thrilled to announce that Dorothy Stubbs has been appointed as our Chief Operating Officer

Dorothy has led Continuum’s People Team for over a decade, helping to shape a strong, values-driven culture across our business. While her new role as COO brings broader operational responsibilities, Dorothy will also continue to head up our People Team.

Reflecting on her appointment, Dorothy said: “Leading the People agenda at Continuum over the past 10 years has been incredibly rewarding and I’m genuinely delighted to step into the role of COO. While I never sought out this position, I’m ready to give it my all.

“Every time I visit one of our attractions or speak to any of the team it confirms my belief that I am working with some of the best in the business and I hope to be able to continue supporting them in ensuring that the talent and dedication of our teams is recognised and supported.

“I’m not leaving the People function – just leading it from a different place. I’ll be continuing to lead our commitment to keeping people at the heart of what we do.”

In her time with Continuum, Dorothy has consistently championed strategies to support employee wellbeing. Her impact is felt not only in our attractions but in every corner of our business – and her new role marks an exciting next chapter.

Andrew Pawson, our CEO, said: “Dorothy has been a huge source of support and wise counsel during my first year as CEO. Her ability to balance commercial understanding with genuine care for our people is second to none. I’m delighted to have her alongside me as we lead Continuum into its next phase.”

As COO, Dorothy will continue to visit our attractions and work closely with our teams – helping to ensure every guest experience reflects the energy, passion and talent of the people who make Continuum so special.

Congratulations, Dorothy!

Spinnaker Tower named TripAdvisor ‘Best of the Best’ as Continuum secure host of awards

Spinnaker Tower officially one of the UK’s best attractions!

We’re thrilled to share that our iconic tower has been named one of the UK’s top attractions by TripAdvisor in its Best of the Best Things to Do for 2025 – placing us alongside fellow national icons like The British Museum, Edinburgh Castle and Stonehenge.

The annual list, released each July, celebrates the highest-rated experiences across the world and in the UK, based on real reviews from guests. Thanks to over 6,000 reviews and an average rating of 4.4 stars, our tower proudly landed 14th in the UK’s Top Attractions rankings.

“It’s fantastic to see the tower recognised as one of the UK’s top attractions,” said Richard Hale, General Manager at Spinnaker Tower.

“We’re incredibly proud to represent Portsmouth on this national list and grateful to every visitor who’s shared their experience. This recognition is a real credit to our local team and the warm welcome they offer day in, day out.”

It comes as our portfolio celebrates a whole host of TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards, which means they’re considered in the top 10 per cent of things to do worldwide by guests.

Andrew Pawson, our CEO, said: “Receiving this kind of recognition across multiple sites reflects the guest-first culture that runs throughout our entire portfolio.

“We’re incredibly proud to see Spinnaker Tower leading the way and thrilled that our portfolio continues to deliver exceptional experiences that resonate so strongly with our visitors.”

Congratulations to The Loch Ness Centre, Coronation Street Experience, GreenWood Family Park, Oxford Castle & Prison, York’s Chocolate Story and Spinnaker Tower!
