Lock up your group as you step inside and do 1000 years of time. Our ever popular attraction has officially raised its flag under the new title Oxford Castle & Prison! Yes, this is a castle but did you know it also served as a prison for centuries? Some of the cells were used to detain criminals right up until 1996 and many of the site’s most fascinating stories come from the men and women who were incarcerated here!
