It’s a period of growth for Continuum Attractions, with a host of new faces joining the business in recent months. We’re now excited to share that our recent recruitment to our senior leadership team has been completed with the final piece of our jigsaw – the appointment of Sarah Brotherton as our new Finance Director.
Following the recent appointments across marketing, operations, recruitment and finance, Sarah’s arrival completes a period of strategic investment in leadership as we continue to grow our portfolio of story-led visitor experiences across the UK.
A Broad Range of Financial Expertise
Sarah joins Continuum with more than 15 years’ experience across all areas of finance, having worked in a diverse range of sectors including luxury womenswear, IT managed services, financial media and even greetings cards.
She brings a well-rounded, commercial perspective shaped by experience in both large and small organisations, and her financial leadership will support Continuum’s next phase of development.

Drawn to Culture, Collaboration and Creativity
“I liked that it was a growing company in a vibrant city like York,” she explains. “It’s so much more interesting to work in finance in a business where you get to see all aspects of the operation, not just being siloed in one part. I liked the culture and feel, and how people are put first in the organisation. Plus, at the end of the day, we’re all selling fun – what can be bad about that!”
Her appointment reinforces Continuum’s commitment to building a senior team that not only brings expertise, but also shares the values that underpin our people-first, storytelling-driven approach.
Supporting Growth Through Insight
As Finance Director, Sarah is looking forward to playing a key role in shaping how financial insight supports operational decision-making across the business.
“I’m looking forward to hopefully making a difference – not just to internal processes and procedures – but to how finance can work alongside the operational parts of the business. By providing real insight and commercial context behind the numbers, finance can help support smarter decisions and sustainable growth.”
With our senior leadership team now in place, Continuum is well positioned for its next chapter – continuing to put unforgettable, human-led storytelling at the heart of everything we do.
