Continuum Attractions has a portfolio of award-winning UK visitor attractions in really great locations, all with really incredible stories to tell. We are looking for someone to join our team to help share and celebrate these stories with the world.
This is super exciting as it focuses on identifying and curating media- friendly stories for Continuum and its attractions, that not only provide PR value, generate awareness and drive bookings, but can also be repurposed as valuable content that can be used across other channels and platforms.
You have to be creative but also strategic. You have to spot the opportunity and then leverage the journalists’ interest – then excite and inspire our audiences in advance of a visit to our locations.
Reporting to our Group Head of Support Marketing, you would be responsible for taking the lead on the creation of a PR strategy that supports the delivery of the Continuum Attractions business plans. Working with the onsite marketing managers and attraction teams you will conceptualise and deliver B2C PR activity for the experiences to raise their profiles with their target audiences.
This may involve anything from producing and distributing newsworthy press releases, attending events and media opportunities, briefing spokespeople prior to interviews, proactively researching concepts and trends, finding relevant influencers to work with and strategically maintaining relationships with key media outlets and stakeholders.
Your creative edge, love of copywriting and passion for storytelling will help as you co-ordinate and run PR activities across the portfolio. Using your journalistic instinct, you will dig into the details of each attraction to find the newsworthy ‘hooks’ that the media need to land the story.
You will already have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the news and social media platforms, will have a good overview of the digital landscape against which PR operates, able to understand the strategies and tactics that lead to effective campaigns.

Salary: £35,000 per annum
